Only small amounts of ethylene oxide are contained in the cartridges. Precise usage of EO with single-dose cartridges means no waste of sterilant and minimal emissions. With Steri-Gas cartridges, operators have no bulky, heavy gas tanks to handle, and no hoses, valves and filters to adjust or replace. The cartridges do not contain CFCs or HCFCs.
