Unlike other methods, 3M™ weatherstrip attachment tapes can be applied to most surfaces with instant adhesion, providing a continuous seal against moisture, dust and noise. They also offer increased design flexibility and lower overall systems costs. 3M provides product and equipment support for applying tape to the weatherstrip and weatherstrip to the vehicle surface.
3M™ Weatherstrip Attachment Tape 5403 is a .8 mm (.032 inch) thick, medium-density, gray, heat-activated acrylic foam tape used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.
3M™ Weatherstrip Attachment Tape 5404 is a 1.2 mm (.047 inch) thick, medium-density, gray, heat-activated acrylic foam tape used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.
3M™ Weatherstrip Attachment Tape 5406 is a 1.57 mm (.062 inch) thick, medium-density, gray, heat-activated acrylic foam tape used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.
3M™ Weatherstrip Attachment Tape 5408 is a .76 mm (.030 inch) thick, medium-density, gray, heat-activated acrylic foam tape used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.
