3M Acrylic Foam Tape 5356 is used where there is greater mismatch between the trim part and the sheet metal of the vehicle. The acrylic foam core has unique viscoelastic properties that allow it to elongate and relax when put under load, thereby minimizing stress on the adhesive bond line. This tape has AR-7 adhesive on both sides of the product for a high level of adhesion to both the automotive paint and the exterior trim part.
