3M™ Weatherstrip Attachment Tape 4981 is a .20 mm (.008 inch) thick, medium-density, clear, heat-activated tape system used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications.

3M Weatherstrip Attachment Tape 4981 is recommended for applications where the surface is smooth and there is minimum stress applied to the tape. The heat-activated adhesive bonds to most EPDM and thermoplastic elastomer formulations. This tape is most commonly used for a temporary hold until a mechanical attachment is applied.
