3M Acrylic Foam Tape 5674 is a medium-density foam tape designed for the attachment of emblems, nameplates, moldings, step pads and other automotive trim to unpainted thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) and polypropylene (PP) surfaces. The key feature of this tape is TX-1 adhesive on the liner side of the tape. TX-1 is designed to bond to low surface energy plastics such as TPO and PP without the use of an adhesion promoter. DS-4 adhesive is used on the non-liner side of the tape for bonding to the back of the trim part.
