3M Cover Tapes are available with either pressure sensitive or heat activated adhesives for use on all types of component sealing machines. Our Cover Tapes are available in non-conductive, conductive and static dissipative surfaces, resist tearing and adhere reliably to 3M™ Carrier Tapes.
3M™ Conductive Cover Tape 2668 is the high shear version of our popular PSA Cover Tape developed to eliminate the delamination of the cover tape from the carrier on high speed pick and place feeders.
3M™ Conductive Pressure-Sensitive Cover Tape 2666 is a transparent, conductive, polyester film tape with a synthetic, room temperature, pressure-sensitive adhesive [PSA] zone along each edge.
3M™ Non-Conductive High Shear Cover Tape 2658 is the high shear version of our popular PSA Cover Tape developed to eliminate the delamination of the cover tape from the carrier on high speed pick and place feeders.
3M™ Non-Conductive Pressure-Sensitive Cover Tape 2656 is a transparent, non-conductive, polyester film tape with a synthetic, room temperature, pressure-sensitive adhesive [PSA] zone along each edge.
3M Static Dissipative Heat Activated Cover Tape 2686 is designed to seal electronic components into 3M™ Polystyrene Carrier Tape 4000. It may also be used with other brands of polystyrene carrier tapes.
3M™ Static Dissipative Pressure Sensitive Cover Tape 2684 seals to both polystyrene and polycarbonate materials from 3M and to most other carrier manufacturers' materials.
