Pavement marking adhesives and surface preparation adhesives are used in the application of 3M™ Stamark™ Pavement Marking Tapes, Pavement Markers and Symbols and Legends.
Contact cement E44-T is used to improve adhesion of 3M™ Stamark™ Series 380I, 420, 5730 and 5760 Tapes to the road surface. Coverage is 75 sq. ft. per gallon for adhesive coated materials and 25 sq. ft. per gallon for non-adhesive coated.
Surface preparation adhesive used to improve the adhesion of all 3M™ Stamark™ tapes, when applied for longitudinal applications. Coverage of 450 lineal feet per gallon. P-50 is also used as a surface preparation adhesive for certain applications of Stamark™ Removable Tapes.
