The Vikuiti optical core comprises of three polarizing beam splitters (PBS) and a color combiner. The Vikuiti optical core provides simultaneous high transmission and high contrast. In addition, 3M PBS technology can operate with high performance at lower engine f/# than can a conventional PBS, allowing the use of more efficient optical engines.
