Use this 2 mil, cast vinyl film to produce signs, emblems, striping and graphics for fleet, vehicle and bus applications. It is a white, opaque film that offers excellent hiding power. This durable film has a polyethylene-coated layflat paper liner and is a good choice for long-term, interior or exterior graphics that can withstand severe weather conditions in industrial or commercial locations. The film can be used when piezo ink jet printing on VUTEk UltraVu™ Printers, the Oce Arizona 30-s Printer or the Scitex Pressjet-W™ Printer.
Installation of large graphics is easy with the Comply™ Performance feature of this film. This is a mechanical feature that allows air to travel through the adhesive, so there are usually fewer air bubbles and the film can be applied with time-saving techniques such as large squeegees. The clear, pressure-activated adhesive allows the film to be repositioned during installation until pressure is applied to the film surface. This graphic film applies well to flat or corrugated surfaces, with or without rivets, simple curves or moderate, compound curves. Appropriate substrates include ABS resins, aluminum, chrome, glass, fiberglass-reinforced plastic and paint. The film can be removed using a heat or chemical system, leaving little or no adhesive residue.
When used according to written instructions, graphics made with this film are covered by the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty - the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. When used with compatible products, produced by a 3M Scotchprint® Graphics Authorized Manufacturer and applied according to written instructions, this film can be used to produce a Scotchprint® Graphic.
