Heat Transfer Fluids
With a pour point of -90°C and excellent low temperature viscosity, Fluorinert liquid FC-72 is an ideal fluid for use in low temperature heat transfer applications. Its high dielectric constant also means that it will not damage electronic equipment in the event of a leak or other failure.
FC-72 liquid is chemically stable, compatible with sensitive materials, nonflammable and practically non-toxic.
Testing Fluids
The high dielectric strength and wide liquid range of Fluorinert liquid FC-72 allows its use in a variety of testing applications, including electronic reliability and hermetic seal/gross leak, and thermal shock testing.
Hermetic seal/gross leak testing generally follows Military Standards 883-1014,750-1071 and 202-112;FC-72 liquid conforms to these specifications.
