Application Guide
Listed below are key applications for K37 glass bubbles. Documents specific to the application are listed to the right.
Industrial Explosives
The strongest 3M glass bubble used in mining applications, K37 glass bubbles are ideal for use in the most difficult conditions. Their extremely high strength protects them from dead pressing and their low-density provides outstanding velocity of detonation (VOD).
  • High fragmentation
  • Inert, non-coalescing particles provide consistent performance over time
  • True density: 0.37 g/cc
  • Target crush strength (90% survival): 3000 psi
