Heat Transfer Fluids
Fluorinert liquid FC-84 has excellent thermal conductivity and viscosity performance over a range of temperatures. Its wide liquid range (-95°C to 80°C) makes it useful in an array of thermal management applications. And its high dielectric constant ensures that it will not damage electronic equipment in the event of a leak or other failure.
FC-84 liquid is chemically stable, compatible with sensitive materials, nonflammable and practically non-toxic.
Testing Fluids
Fluorinert liquid FC-84 conforms to Military Specification 883 as a detector fluid in bubble tank or negative ion detection (NID) gross leak testing with reliability confirmable to 10-5 atmospheres per cc/sec or more. It is also an effective fluid for use in environmental stress screening.
