Cleaning Fluids
Novec fluid HFE-71IPA is a hydrofluoroether in an azeotropic formulation with isopropanol. The fluid is intended to replace ozone-depleting materials like CFC-113 and HCFC-141b in many applications, including many light-duty cleaning applications.
Its increased polar solvency and low surface tension, nonflammability and constant composition during boiling of the fluid makes it ideal for precision specialty cleaning and rinsing for removal of particulate, fingerprints and light soils from metal, plastic and glass parts.
