It is designed for use where a thin compressible insulation is important. It is breathable, moisture-resistant and can be washed or dry-cleaned depending on individuals manufacturerers' recommendations. It is available in Types U, US, and UDS.

General Outerwear, Sportswear, Gloves and Accessories.
Warmth While Damp:
Retains insulating ability in damp conditions. Fibers absorb less than 1% by weight of water. Easily dried.
Flammability:
Class 1 -- as tested according to procedure described in 16 CFR Part 1610, Federal Flammable Fabrics Act.

45% Olefin, 55% Polyester

Thinsulate™ Insulation Types U, US, and UDS are available in 60 inch roll width with 2 inch inside core diameter.
